GROOVIN 2017 TO BE A SHOW STOPPER

New York, NY…One look at the foreseeable lineup for the 2017 Groovin Festival to be featured at the Roy Wilsons Park in Jamaica Queens, summer June 25,  and there were no questions left to ask. If you have not been to a Jamaican Reggae Music Jam Session, then you have been deprived because this is something like that and because none of us have seen a reggae orchestra, this show will be something to be behold, a treat and must see; you can’t afford to miss this. It will make history and will be mold over for years to come.

Featured artists slated for the momentous production Includes: Lloyd Park & We The People, Leroy Sibbles, Freddie McGreGor, Ken Boothe, Tarrus Riley, R&B sensation R. Kelly, The Lennox Road Baptist Church Gospel Choir and recently added Jamaica’s stalwart Busy Signal and an advantage edge the musically intoned songbird a sensation to be hold Stephanie Mills.

According to Groovin’s promoter Chris Roberts, in a phone interview the idea for a Jamaica Reggae Orchestra was iconic reggae legend, Freddie Mcgregor.  Roberts said he had always wanted to see a Jamaican Orchestra in session and the implementation here by Mcgregor, gave him that chance. Giving voice to the mystro R. Kelly; Roberts said  “R Kelly have always been on our list of R&B artist to primer at Groovin. We have tried to get him through people but this time we got him through his team, they like the contract and was willing to do the show.”

Thus far, the press was invited to the primer launch for the show 3/25, at the Crown Plaza JFK, where not only press but specially invited guest got to hear just a touch of what is to come. The insight was well received. Many there after, were delighted with the idea of a Symphony Reggae Orchestra and voiced there certainty of being in the Park Sunday June 25.

In addition, later said day 3/25, a quick interview with Lloyd Parks, over at VP Records; I learned that he couldn’t wait for the big show and was actually afoot mounting a case to bring an application… Intangible Cultural Heritage, to UNESCO that Tuesday, to ask for freedom of movements on behalf of Reggae artists.

“JaRIA, will research the possible branch of Caricum reciprocal agreement, where musicians come into Jamaica to work but Jamaicans don’t get to participate or go to the shows (they’re outsized),” explained Parks.

Moreover, another interview by phone with  Mcgregor, April 18, who was in Malian at the time touring, said that this years Groovin will be much different because of the orchestra production….push he didn’t want to give anything away except to say, “I am looking forward to the show.”

Further inquires from the singer revealed that he has a farm in Florida, which he will present to the world shortly. Mcgregor has produces of 3 acres of Ocra ready to sell. He has vegetable, Colaloos and he raise horses. 20 acres of produces. “I will be selling my produces here in the U.S. as well as in Jamaica,” confirmed Mcgregor.  The Reggae giant also articulated that all of his produce will be ready in weeks; the Ocra 2-3 weeks. Mcgregor at the time of this interview, was touring in Europe: Malian, Venice then finishing up in Rome at the end of April. The  ever ready musician also let it be known that he was already in studios working on his 2018 album; which we are all looking forward to.

THE SUSAN RICE LIE

New York. NY…The debauchery surrounding the Susan Rice, former National Security Advisor to former President Barack Obama according to current President of the United States Donald Trump and some Republicans; Susan Rice committed a crime. The consensus of the Republicans are that Rice had the audacity to request the identity of people in questionable positions and in proximate association to organize crime caught on routine surveillance.

Further consensus stats is, because President Trump was also caught up on some of those same surveillance or is questionable in those said routine opts and reports from those opts came to light and into the hands of the Justice Department via to Rice’s attention, at the same time of Trump’s campaign and during the election process and she, at the time National Security Advisor, called for an unmasking of the players, Trump thinks that Rice must have committed a crime and helped the Obama Administration serviled his campaign. Well, well well, exactly what is Trump really saying? or is he playing a ploy used again by him to deflect from what he is accused of at the moment, “Which is dancing with the Russians”

“The unmasking was requested to better understand the context behind reports and not for political purposes. I  never leaked any information, ever,” said Susan Rice

My surmise is that Donald Trump should know that Susan Rice had the power and the law behind her and in her hands to asked for and receive information regarding anyone in or outside of Government who she deemed a threat to the security of this great nation. Trump and his transition team was and is associating and walking with known crime figures; he’s not exempt from scrutiny because he was a so-call American businessman, if anything he should be more so be scrutinize, especially because he is known for illegal activities and because he was on the verge of running for the greatest office in the world. His track record gave rise for the surveillance. And if documents surfaced at said time stating that he was involved in questionable events then that surveillance if by the Justice Department, was warranted.

When you decide to become the head of any Government, first of all you are taking a risk and you should come clean. Even if there is something there, it should be of little consequence or significance. Trump has and still have baggage’s, the justice department has a right to keep on him like white on  rice.

Trump in my assertion, is picking on Rice because she, he feels has no defense as a woman and as a black woman at that whom he deems has or won’t get no help. Where is his argument now that we learned that it was the European Intelligence, who first intercept and found out about the opt doing a routine surveillance.

Doesn’t Trump have enough to worry about like now he’s going to pay back taxpayers for the surmountable expenses he has and is racking up. People we are only in Trump World 4 months and yet he has manage to rack up possible over $100 Million if not more already in expenses. I have stated before “Should the budget office tally up all his expenses thus far, for what he claimed he did for us America and his travel expenses and what this war really cost he entered into with Asad..to show or flex his mussels via dropping a mother of all bombs’ costing a whopping $16 Million is no feat. For his short stint in office, literally a few weeks, this Gov might have to close the treasury for a short spell. The question we should asked of our selves is: Who’s is really making out under this administration, the we the people via the Government or Donald Trump and his family and friends.

Incidentally, we notice that during the biggest night of the war when this President send 1000 troops into harms way and dropped the mother of all bombs, he had surrounding him in Mar-a Largo, not the White House war room, a bunch of businessman. No intelligent operation specialist, no scientist, no FBI agents, no CIA Intell personals, no military generals just men in suits.. whom we later learned that he made the most critical decision to drop the bomb with. These men his advisors, bankers, his son-in-law and other businessmen who shouldn’t have been in that room at that critical time. Ok, lets carm down here . What message is Donald Trump conveying to us the American people???. Is this President laughing at us telling us to our faces that he can break the law and do what he dam well please?? “Mr. President no disrespect but you will have to follow the law like everyone else, that can not happen again.” Or maybe the banking buddy is going to pick up the Bill for that particular bomb usage, that would be nice.

The Democratic Machine better be turned back on. Four years of this and our Country is toast.
