New York, NY…Today, influential Caribbean Radio Station, Irie Jam Radio and Irie Jam Media Group, announced their partnership with iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia’s free all-in-one digital music, iHeart Live Streaming Radio and iHeart Podcasting Service. Irie jam Radio Digital Station, Carib Star Radio, will be carried on the iHeartRadio App, 95.9 FM, starting January 2024. The collaboration will capture a wider audience and corner the national music market for businesses and advertisers. Your favorite Irie Jam Radio personalities will be on board.
According to Irie Jam Radio Founder and CEO, Bobby Clarke OD, Irie Jam Radio, have always been dedicated to promoting Caribbean music and culture. “Our partnership with iHeartRadio, offers a tremendous opportunity to expand our reach; allowing us to showcase the rich culture from the Caribbean to a wider audience. We are excited to embark on this incredible journey and bring the heartbeat of the Caribbean to listeners across the nation.” Clarke said.
A staple in the Caribbean community for 30 years, Irie Jam Radio, first made its homestead in Harrison, NY. Thereafter, the strategic move to 233-16 Merrick Blvd, in Queens was made; maximizing options for their first live event, Irie Jamboree… a success story. Reaching a milestone, they outgrew their space and op for One Cross island plaza, in Rosedale New York, where they remained from 2011 to March 2023. Here, the company prospered and doubled its impact fully established and corner the household name with 25 employees and an estimated worth of $6,000,000, 00.

Thou bittersweet, Irie Jam radio Station was interrupted March 2023, due to its parent station 93.5FM WVIP, being sold to Hope Media Group, in Houston, Texas; for a whopping $8.15 Million…the move came as a shock to the Caribbean Community which for decades, helped to buildup service and revenue at WVIP. Irie Jam Radio’s current homestead is in Elmont Island, a stone-throw away to reach.
Unfortunately, from March into April 2023, Irie jam Radio encountered another setback, an electrical fire at the station unleashed, halting everything. But currently, the company is undergoing construction; looking forward to a bigger and brighter future at said homestead in Elmont.
Carib star radio, in addition to music…will showcase assorted Caribbean businesses, fashion, food, sport news, politics, lifestyles, as well as, spotlighting emerging Artists.
