New York, NY… Her name is Lina Trivelli, and she is the creator behind the multi-billion dollar “Barbbie Phenomenon.” She is known has a Marketing Executive, an Author, a Computer Software Program Developer and an Educator; but she describes herself has a Computer Software Program developer, an innovator and inventor of the E-Commerce.
Trivelli came into prominence at a very young age when she was hired by Ty Warner, to head up his Toy Company via the 1990s Beanie Baby Movements. Trivelli at that time envisioned and created the Beanie Tags, from a simple webpage she created. Giving the Beanie Babies, a personal identity. “My thinking was, how could I make a product (Toys) connected to people, which would also give the toys a personality and personalize them as well,” she said.
According to Trivelli, writing computer program basics in second grade was exciting times for her. She said the computer her parents bought her, was an expensive toy. She learned the feat of the computer basics at an early age, because her mother made her read the computer manual three times at age 7, which, she thought was annoying and did not feel that she should have done that but, her mother was scared she would break the computer if she didn’t. “I did not need to do that it was a huge investment for my parents. Today, it’s hard for her (her mother) to understand what I have done. She is now 81,” Trivelli explained.
“It’s hard, it feels like it’s bigger than me. It’s hard to process. When I invented E-Commerce, I was making $12 an hour. I feel what I do is great but, I also feel like why, am I struggling,” she stated. “I learned a lot and what I learned no one can take what I know and put a value on it. I have all this knowledge that I can do anything with it. Everything is a learning experience no matter how big or small it is. All the struggle I went through saved me. I can go through anything,” Trivelli said.
Replying to the recent Barbbie phenomenon and the movies out now…Trivelli made it clear that they called her about the movies and that she had nothing to do with the ideas for the movies. The ideas were all on HBO Max–Beanie Baby Mania, Vice TV’s–Dark Side of the 90’s, Prime’s Beanie Bubble–a fictional story in a Hollywood movie, produce by Imagine Entertainment…beaming the same Beanie Bubble and a name on Apple TV. They, she said called everything to do with the 90’s metros. “It’s cool what they have out now, its metro.” “My daughter loves the old ideas; even for looking for the personalize toys,” revealed the educator.
In addition, Trivelli, voiced that the Barbie Movie and the Barbie Bubble came out the same time. Thus, the reason for the many writeups spilling The over and Marketing bliss recently. She said, “My experience as a woman in technology back then is similar to Barbie’s experience.”
Conversely, when asked about her partnering with Nitan Luthta, and the new developing Articial Intelligence (AI), Technology “Joilai,” a software both of them are creating …a software that’s supposed to make meaningful connections with up to 15 people (Friends); how different it was from other software’s and wasn’t she afraid it’s not just another like- minded adult application that brings friends together? Trivelli stated flatly no, not at all. She said, “It is software that no one else it trying to solve.
“I want to connect but I am so busy as a mother. So, what we are creating is leveraging the technology field. it is a technology on your computer that will ask you questions then pair you with friends. It will mirror me then two friends who will be talking to each other, then I can go and view you with your inner circle of like-minded-friends; as they will also be asked questions that pairs with you,” she said. The technology she explained is coming along and it is hard work and is complicated.
Furthermore, Trivelli, contended that she had to overcome everything possible and imaginable to get her Title. Barbie, she noted is now reflecting women of all different types. “All women go through these adversities and struggles, Barbie as a company, is trying to reflect on all women,” Trivelli confided.
Right now, because of my experience it comes easy. When I was young it was not easy. I did not have the vision and know how to position myself; the owner of my company did, he saw my potential. Thereafter, it became easy, no one could tell me what to do,” equipped the Software Program Developer.
“I want my story to be told where young girls can say, look what she did. i want them to see that there is space for them in the Technology Industry. There are no women there and the men are not nice,” Trivelli said profoundly.
