New York, NY… Written by Gina Keys, Mississippi Land was the Black History Suprise of 2024, taking you back to the 1945 era. It’s Surprising in a sense that it was uniquely presented…masterfully and ingeniously put together. Mississippi Land had everything (Drama to the core) in it. It had flair, wits, sex, romance, death, truths, lies, suspense and mystery. Read by the best of what Broadway give us. Broadway it is bound.
Directed By Alicia Whavers and Gayle Samuels, the plays executive producers are Leon and Dave Huie. The cast includes Leon, Andrea Jones-Sojola, Rebecca Hargrove, Audrey Cardwell, Ta’Nika Renee Gibson, Christian Mark Gibbs and Lance Roberts.
According to the intro the play explores the complexity and challenges facing African Americans after the Civil War and underscores the grits and strength of Southern Women determined to build generational wealth amid the threat of government land theft.
My Nephew and I saw the play Feb 4, a beautiful Sunday after at the LeFrak Concert Hall, Queens College. A must see wherever you are.
After the play I ran into Melvin Glover, famed rapper Mellie Mel.

New York, NY… In one big plasma, all of former President, Donald J. Trump’s cases are cumulating into one gigantic correlation that seeming is not going away no time soon and Trump is on the hunt. Recently, one of Trump’s Mara la go case has apparently been taken up by America First Legal. America First legal, subsequently is stating and irascibly arguing that they work for the Government, (This nation) but in rebuttal, are they really? In the case regarding Trump removing documents, the unequivocal answer is no. None the less, they’re going to bat for Trump.
The first move, America First Legal and Trump requested information through the Freedom of Information Act; to get insight on former President Barack Obama’s PITC Network (President Information Technology Committee), a creation by the Obama Administration due to Russian hacking into the nation’s Top Secret Internal and external affairs during his tenor has President. After the hacking the Obama Administration created PITC, comprised of several departments including the Department of Defense, Homeland Security, the Justice Department, FBI, CIA and other critical agencies involving securing the nation.
Currently, Special Council Prosecutor, Jack Smith and the Government, (We the people)…accusations are that Trump took hundreds of classified documents belonging to the people of this nation to Mar-a-Lago, where they were inadequately stored and may have been tampered with and mishandled…America First Legal, is arguing that if the information stored on the PITC Network, is what Jack Smith used to indict Trump, then the information should’ve been given to him because said information might be relevant to his liability.
Furthermore, AFL is arguing that PITC’s memo establishes the President’s executive control over information, resources and systems, provided to the President and that the memo gives Trump a reasonable belief that he had authority over all information received…and that if documents destroyed by Trump still exist on the PITC Network, then other claims maybe baseless.
In other words, AFL is contending that because the Obama Administration created PITC Network, due to Russian’s hacking, to secure Top Secret Information… internal and external affairs, of this nation by top agencies to protect the nation and put said top secret documents at his finger tips and had exclusive authority over them while residing has President at the White House, then Trump because he is a former President, should also have exclusive executive control over all top secret documents and other documents as well. Key words, (While they were in Office and was President).
Here is this editorial argument on the matter. First of all, Obama did not remove no top-secret documents from the White House when his tenor was up and he left the White House, (the people’s house). When Obama created PITC, it was done to secure the nation’s data and wire grid and to gather assessments on where critical security information was and where the country was situated on a hold at any given moment in case Russia had picked upon anything we were doing, have done or in the process of getting done. Obama would have been up to date on the country ‘s data and surely other damming assessments in case of war. Remember, Obama was trying intensely hard conquer to what some were saying. He would have succeeded if, his feet weren’t holden to the fire by Republicans. Could he have done much much better, of course given the chance or better data, especially with the Muammar Gaddafi situation. Obama was one of our best Presidents.
Trump on the other hand, could’ve gotten all that information he needed on all the same information while he was in the White House. He could have reviewed them there and given up to speed data information on them and get even further up to date intelligences there as well. He did not care too much about that.
The danger the nation face is Trump was very cozy with the Kremlin and Vladimir Putin while he was in the White House and still today, has an indicted criminal. While in Office he called on Russia to investigate former First Ladey Hilary Clinton’s emails and did not shy away from bewitching her has Secretary of State, of the United States. Trump also did the business of giving birth to right-wing, copy catchers all over the world. And ran up the nation’s Travel Office Budget, to trillions of dollars.
In addition, Trump taking of top-secret documents out of the White House, to Mar-a-Lago without securing them, is a security breach of this nation. Further, he had no security safety storage and had all kinds of people, coming in and out of Mar-a-Lago, for which some of them could have been spies. To make matters worse, the hundreds of boxes of documents he took from the White House, we had to asked how many was read, retyped and copied and put back in place? more troubling, he was no longer the President of the free world, what was he looking and searching for.? Trump never cared about this country or cared about keeping the country safe. He never listened to his handlers; he didn’t read any critical documents to secure the people, he did not take notes. So, was he ceremoniously looking for documents on himself, info on others, info he could use as barging chips, to keep himself out of jail for what he knew was coming; or was he searching for information to give Putin on a certain impending war. Pick your choice.
To ingeminate, Trump is no longer in Office… what does he want with these documents.? Again, he did not take any notes. Donald Trump could not be out of his mind and think or reasonably believe that he had absolute executive authority over these documents clearly marked Top Secret and is DM for the nation when he knows, he is fully engaged in under-minding the country. Who was going to give him sensitive material to use against the nation, people in Government and more sinister, against our allies, unless of course he has gone loco. Trump is on the hunt, on a mission to find something anything to do something. The trillion-dollar question is, what was Trump looking for and why.???
The latter question is what America First Legal, should focus on and find out, if they really want to help the country and get at the truth. The egregious and last question is… Is America First Legal, knowing who Trump truly is and what we all know about him…asking the American people to trust Donald Trump.? What! January 6, 2021, did not teach or tell us anything? seriously.

New York, NY…President Joe Biden in recent published reports showed that he had one box of documents some classified in his garage, from his day as Vice President in the President Barack Obama administration for which he did not remember how they got there. These documents are mostly in his own hand writings, notes that he had taken. In recent days much have been made about the documents in his home. In current reporting the special council that was appointed to find out more about his documents found that he did nothing wrong.
Compare this scenario to Trump’s hundreds of boxes of classified documents and regular documents, not to mention hidden compartment in his house hiding even more documents from the prying eyes of the Feds and further truck loads more of documents apart from what was in his bathroom and elsewhere in his house. He was also charged with calling for an insurrection at the White House, which took place 1/6/2021, which he has since admitted in Jack Smith’s trial against him. Why?
Why did Trump take these documents to his house at Mar-a- lago, he had no handwritten notes among them and he doesn’t read anything. To make matters worse, he does not speak intelligible thus, and again, what was he looking for? who was he giving them to or asking to read them for him?
One has to further asked…why are his supporters so steadfast in supporting him knowing what they know? Could it really be because of educated people verse non educated people? or, face value the Race factor, where this seen not as solely the case. ‘Dark Money,’ rich people but why, they know he’s culpable of crimes maybe they don’t care. It can’t be the Republicans they have proven that they can’t control him. The “Powers ” that be, they have Shown that he is their puppet at will because he will do whatever they want and whenever they want.
Truth to “Power,” they have basically shown us and proved to us that they don’t really care about the world’s populations as long as they can keep their money, they are good.
Trump is in so much legal hot water that he will need money lots and lots of money to get himself out of his jam for the next one hundred years . Good thing his wife is a model and has her own clothesline and her own money. He’s going have to dip into her loot because E. Jean Carroll, whom he assaulted basically own him and everything he owns. He has to pay her $83.3Million and pay back the banks his lawyers and employees, possibly more people. What a mess.

New York, NY… It was an invite no one in media wanted to miss. The marriage of Robert Kool Bell and the iconic brand watch Accutron, along with Le Kool Champagne. The press event took place at the Moxy Hotel Fleur Room, located at 105 West 28th Street in NYC.
Robert Kool Bell is the Grammy winning founder of the famed band Kool & The Gang. You may remember the band’s award-winning songs, “Ladies Night” and “Celebration”,” to name two of his most popular. After years of dropping hit songs Bell seek higher pastures and forged first into the champagne business by seeking out Paul Berthelot, owner of the Grand Cru Vineyards, from owners that have been producing champagne for generations. The result was a creation in partnership with Berthelot who have been producing since 1884. The venture produced the new product, Le Kool Celebration Champagne.

To accentuate the new marriage in spirations and collaboration-venture in the watch making business; Bell teamed up with Accutron to celebrate a new line of watches, specifically catering to the needs of women. Accutron watches have been around since the 1960s and was manufactured by Bulova. The company which began in New York, is a New York City staple and is now a part of the Japanese citizen’s group stemming from 1875.
According to Bell, “I feel my history and Accutron’s have many parallels in terms of innovation and passion. New York, NY…. Garfield ‘Chin’ Bourne, founder of Sound Chat Radio, WVIP 93.5 FM (No longer in business) was given a commendation for their efforts in giving back to the community that shares his values. Chin, the founder and one half of the Irish & Chin duo have been around for many years and counting. The Sound Chat Radio Team have been around for 13-years.
“I have worked very hard from the beginning,” said Chin.
Chin, no stranger to the New York Tri State arena came a long way to prove himself to the New York base in the Caribbean Community, not only with a Radio platform but with big event clashes and large concerts. Thus, it was not a surprise that the Sound Chat Team and Chin was bestowed upon with such high reference given their pragmatic esteem on New York’s airwaves and beyond…online platform and community involvements, which is a grave part of their platform.
“Our industry colleagues only respected us for sound clashes and large events, not for radio. We had to fight for it. We eventually created a powerhouse team of talented personalities and sound system selectors, as reflected today on Sound Chat Radio,” said Chin.
