In the last couple of weeks President Obama, went on a three City tour stating what he is willing to do for the rest of his Presidency; which is creating ways for the middle class to be hold again and before he leaves office. He said, “I have 1276 days left in office and I am not waiting for the next President to tackle the issues I care about.” He says he has to make this country work for working Americans again. He was fired up for the economy.

According to the President, income for the top 1% as quadrupled;  He said CEOs has gotten 40% share of the financial income; where as the average worker pay stay stagnant since 1999; in spite of his cut deficit since he took office. The President has made historical changes for this nation for the betterment of us all and he has further created hundreds of thousands of jobs—- but more needs to be done before he leave office and we have to help him achieve it so we will, in turn be better off for our future.

This signals  that the rich is still getting richer and the working poor gap is getting ever broader and the gall of the rich man to still cry wolf. This simple means that poor people is going to have to create ways of doing business with the rich by way of executing what is known to them from what the Government—environment—worldview–other have taught them or what was taken from schools–academia.

Today, society taught us everything has to be rethink in order to survive, as well as make it and become productive members of our society. It’s not enough to just go to school, come out-work save then get the picket-white-fence and the two and half kids. This, kind of thinking have long been gone its no more. You have to start reading books you have never read before; look up things you have no interest in and study things you never ever wanted to even think about. Read and get into things you never dream of doing in your wildest of imagination. It will help you use your mind-eyes to its full potential thus, allowing you to grasp ideas for potential creation. Learn to use your inner eyes, mind, spirit, and your seven and higher senses It is this kind of world we are living in.

Moreover, the President also said that if they (Republican) have a better Plan, then share it with the class. They can’t shut down the Gov. when he’s trying to open it. The Republicans it seem is slapping people in the face by cutting everything, turning law for one thing into another thing just so they can used it for their devious deeds. Shut down life saving clinics, run wedge into things that they know  can help people etc. What are the Republican a fright of? Is there something they are not telling us——–Later in the months ahead there will be a battle over the debt ceiling and its a battle-cry, the President is right we can’t wait–action should be taken now or soon, because if the Republican have anything to do with it—–it will be the detriment to us all. The fight must start now.

The Fury

When the retroaction of Christopher Micheal Coke (aka) Dudus Coke came into be, all media spoke out to the betterment of Jamaica. It was the right thing to do. Currently there is a documentary running out there regarding this infamous Don, who seems to have done nothing but, desecrate via the shower posse and help degrade The Island’s good name. The documentary told the story of who Coke was and what he did to Jamaica and else where and why he had to be put away. Of course to the detriment of those who seems to have gotten help from this infamous man; to his demise his bad deeds out weighted his good. If you are doing bad things you can’t run or hide forever. It will catch up to you one day and sooner than you plan for.

Leaders in the Jamaican Government are speaking out, that the Minister of Security, Peter Bunting, should not have played a part in the deliverance of the documentary; because it is seen as worsening Jamaica’s out look in the bigger world at large.  Let me ask a question, who else should have told the story, if not him—-remember, others contributed to the story.

Bunting was in my book the best person to let it out. Who knew better then he, what was really going on within Coke’s establishment outside of the Shower Posse; and who knew better than him what the Jamaican Government’s involvement embedded in Coke’s organization was or what depth it reached.

Bunting is the head of Security, he knew and he let it out. No one else had the right to speak—out but him—the head of Jamaica’s Security Force. He told the story the way it had to be told to the world. He was the right person to do it and go to. No member of Parliament should begrudge, shun or try to chastise him for doing what was right. And no one should call for him to step down, it should not happen. My viewpoint.

New York NY,  How many of us new that the little known law of (Stand Your Ground) was placed or put into law in Florida, because of the bullying of the NRA. According to published reports the fact is so and now we are dealing with a death and someone is getting away with it because of said Law.

This is an outrage, the NRA should not be in the business or should be in the position of telling law makers how to set laws governing their states. This is why the nation is in trouble. And the laws on the books have to be given more attention has to how they’re  setup to defend or protect us.

Moreover, no Juror should have the right to setup book-deals, until long after a criminal case or any case is over and done with (caput) if you will.

Our Nations Farm Bill

New York, NY—–Law Makers are awake, they woke up and steadfastly pass a new  Farm Bill, this time leaving out Foot Stamp measures but saw to it that their rich Farmer friends got millions in funds from the Farm Bill. 26 people to be exact, so said Rep Rosa DeLauro. No one she stated in the house knows who these 26 people are. Is this right? Millionair stay millionair.

New York, NY   We all sat back and watched the verdict, thereafter sort for answers has to what the jury were thinking. Some, stated that the jurors could only do what the law (Stand Your Ground Law), asked of them. But, upon still now no one has heard the other side Trayvon’s side of things, he’s dead. All the jury heard and the public heard, was Zimmerman’s side which has holes poked into them and unexplained facts. In Essences some believed that Zimmerman lied to cover himself.

Another thing that gall everyone is: the fact that the Police questioned and let go Zimmerman. He was not sort-after for at least four to six hours after the fact. He confessed that he was the killer. We need to know what happened right after the killing. What time did police arrived and pictures were taken of Zimmerman’s head, clothing and else where. More importantly, we need to know who through the first blow  and why the first blow was thrown. This is because if, we are to believe what Zimmerman stated<that Trayvon throw the first blow then we need to know why Trayvon did so.

Zimmerman wants us to believe that he walked up to Trayvon spoke politely to Trayvon and Trayvon turned around and just attack him for no apparent reason. And his statement of ambushed—-why would Trayvon ran from him and then turned around a 180 ran back or walk back to him (Zimmerman) and just sprung on him and beat him down, why? this statement is making no sense.

Remember, it was dark and raining. If anything, and the child got away from Zimmerman, he would keep running until he got home—because he did not know who Zimmerman was, what he wanted, if the man had a knife or gun or is a criminal; It was dark and raining. Trayvon knew that his life was in danger, the stranger didn’t say who he was and instinct took over. We do no know if Trayvon saw Zimmerman’s gun; and we do not know if  Zimmerman pointed out that he had a gun to Trayvon or showed it to Trayvon—-at which point the boy started fighting for his life.

We only know what story, Zimmerman consorted-up and told us, which has we now know, is full of holes. Zimmerman lied and for good reason he killed the child for no good reason at all.

State Attorney General Eric Holder, is correct to announced that the justice department would in fact look into the story. There is too much evidence that was not given to the jurors.

! It was in Fact a Long and Hard Fought Trial but I Hope That Justice Will Be Serve !

Imagine that you have a seventeen year old child, he left the house to go by snack for himself. On his way back and it was dark, he encountered a man following him and as most black kids do– he stated on his phone to his friend whom he was talking to, on his way back to his house——(probably) “some guy is following me” and probably stated even further that ” why u following me man” to George Zimmerman who followed him> Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012—and at which time Zimmerman did not state who he was. A struggle ensued or took place from there and Trayvon ended up dead—–with a gun-shot wound pumped into his chest point blank range.

Now, Zimmerman was told by the police when he called them, not to follow Trayvon, he did not listen. He knew, by the  rules of the Housing Watch Team, that he was not supposed to have come out of his car and follow no one, he did. And has much as his neighbors were close he never called any of them for help or knock on any door for help. Zimmerman prejudged Trayvon because of other neighboring kids he could not get, for whatever reason. Zimmerman stated and complaint that his head was smashed into the concrete pavement.

Look at these two characters– who is bigger than who and who had some type of training for this type job and for this same reason. Zimmerman of course

Trayvon was going to be the example not to toy with him (Zimmerman).

Zimmerman used Trayvon, has a tool to send a message to the neighboring kids in the community. “I will not tolerate you in my Gated Community, keep out” and he took this seriously. Trayvon is dead because one man was hell bent on sending a msg. Zimmerman’s target was ripe for the picking; he was classically alone, had a hood on, was on his phone and not paying too keen of attention.

Irie Jam’s Irie Jamboree

Sept 1, 2013, the recently a domed Barclays Center will be transfix into all things Caribbean. This is the venue chosen for the year’s a list concert, Irie Jamboree, the concert which out fits all concerts. Even though Irie Jamboree had not been cast for two years, the curtain is now down and it is back on track. 

According to Bobby Clarke, in a phone interview, “Jamboree is looked at, as far as venue, on a year to year basis;” so no Brooklyn, don’t rule out Queens, just yet. The concert’s 30-Thousand +, mega following is literally here to stay; good news for the promoter. The concert boast a very successful show. I couldn’t leave without telling you that this year’s lineup will be remembered and telling—-Artist consist of Caribbean treasures—Damian Jr Gong Marley, Shabba Ranks and I-Octane; this is history in the making. 620 Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn NY 11217.

Grace Jerk Fest

July 21, 2013, Queens famed Roy Wilkins Park, will be turned into a food feast for our Caribbean Community and for anyone, who wants to be a part of us for the day; the Park opens 12-noon. Eat until you drop, walk and taste food until you can’t eat no more. There will be all kinds of food for your taste buds and for this Family Fun Day.

Moreover, a cook-off  will be hosted by actor Leon Robinson. Also there, is going to be a kids zone and cooking demonstrations and of course a Cultural Stage. My-my, and to top that off international re-known artists  Shaggy, Fab 5 and Christopher Martin will take center stage on glist of who is who. This show is another Caribbean successful story on promoters a list. It is also enjoyed by thousands who is following the Caribbean movement.

The Cry Of A Nation

Are we hearing correctly?—-that our country-nation is not only AAA again, but that we are $117 million dollars in surplus. Have all the lies that Republicans tell, this  takes the cake. You mean to tell us that people are living in states where they can’t even get medical help; women are losing their health clinics; schools programs are being cuts and we are in a surplus range and the Republicans are crying wolf. If true, this is an outrage and must not be tolerated. Dems have to pore on the pressure and not letup.

By the way Immigration Reform is a done deal; congrats to the President.

Queens Africa At Grooving In The Park

She came out singing “Babylon Gone Down,” a statement in itself for her and shows that she had grown-up even more and washed in her culture. She immediately blazed-up the crowd —-lyrics fly and Africa was in her element. Africa was poised and gave an excellence performance. She spited out musical and cultural lyrics vital for the growth of our youths growing up today.

Moreover, she continues to feed the youngsters with her impressive style of music; which will serve for the greater good and generations to come.  she allowed us to see her bearings and lyrical legacy. continue success to her , we were bless at Grooving In The Park, to have had her.  Africa Photos not available very sorry

Our World Focus

The recent flare-up in Egypt, is to be excepted; Egypt is one of though country that will always in some way be relevant and will be heard. It played an intricate part in our history and I presumed will continue to do so. The People of Egypt will get what they want and that will be that.

The different parties over there is just like ours here in the United States, no difference; its a history thing and I call the Middle East, the stabilizer, reality bites don’t it. That region literally keeps us on our toes, not what we want but it is what it is.

In thrust, what we all have to understand is this—that we are all connected and interwoven together. Everything on this planet is intertwine, we has a people can’t forget this factor; Everyone, no matter what status or religious background you are or belong to—is essentially serving and responding, some preparing for one creator; that which brought forth all living things.

Interpolates politics, which is not on a leveled playing field; where some get more than others; yet still others are cheating their way through life’s maze—setting up their particular generations to keep going and to stay on top at the 1% level by any means necessary. Furthermore, down troddening the rest who are following the rule book and laws governing our lands and aren’t getting any where because yes, the status quo is being kept into place.

Well, fasten your seat belt; accordingly, change did come and eventually things will be better for the 99% slowly. Some would prefer it come faster but anything that comes too quickly, surely sparks; and is poise to leave a space we eventually will have to go-back to and fix or fill. So, slowly and purposefully change has come and is here to stay. Remember,  there are more good then bad and evil on our planet. In the end we all came from one and will return to one. The Creator made it so.         (Look out for the Zimmerman saga).

Immigration Reform

This is just my opinion but here goes: Why would Congress put or about to put into place Super Helicopters  cost in the Obama Immigration Bill Package.

This I feel is not the right Bill to put a Super Helicopter cost. Products for the military should have their own Bill, for congress to decide on. If its a situation where Congress can’t put-through such a bill without fan-fare from members of Congress. Then the nation on a hold have a problem.

THE TRAPPED

When you are sick its bad enough but when you are sick and need help and you are told you can’t have the Health Care you need, then this is big problem. There are literally hundreds of people trapped in States run by Republican Senators, who are eligible for Medicaid and can’t get it because their State senator is playing hard ball. This is disruptive-unforgiving and a bit heavy handed and I think disrespectful to their constituents who are the ones footing their salaries. Folks these guys are suppose to be serving you. They’re trampling on voters rights to medical help. This is wrong, wrong its hostage holding, !really!.

Better Than Ever

Queens NY: The Promoters of the 2013 Grooving In The Park Concert, which took place in North Jamaica at the Roy Wilkins Park, out shined their first two predecessor’s concerts. And after last year’s gelation’s of complaints, promoter Chris Roberts’ came back swinging. He got his wish of a block buster of a Summer Slam Dunk concert success. Immediately the nostalgia of any forbearance evaporated, everybody loved what they witness money well spent.

In the Park was Steel Pulse, Half Paint and yes, Barrington Levy—the show stopper, what can I say, we can’t touch him he lights up any stage. I must tell you that after these three, people catapulted; everyone could not wait to see Sanchez , Patti Labelle, Genuwine, TGT and Tyrese: It was indeed great to see Sanchez again he looked good; as usual great overall performance by him and he kept that voice polished, we love it.

Patti, for a woman at her age, she takes the cake—-look younger than ever, moves like a teenager and is just has real as she wants to be. Love her songs and as always great performance and stage present. It was indeed a pleasure to see her in our part of the community, her fans did not disappoint her.

Mr. Tyrese, I don’t even know where to begin, he literally had women knock me down trying to get to him. These girls knew his every move, they don’t miss a beat. They hung-on to every ah and ho he hutters to, I mean some of these women were grown adults. Anyway,  he, indeed put on an excellent performance and the crowd loved it. keep it up.
