DYLANN ROOF TRIED TO BE (IAN SMITH) THE LAST RHODESIAN GENERAL

HE WAS COUNTING ON HISTORY TO GO OUT IN STYLE

Dylann Roof seen here holding a confederate flag

A mass shooting took place on June 17, 2015; when all was said and done we learned that 9 people was gun down inside of an historic black church, Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston. The gunman, Dylann  Roof, a 21-year old White kid. He was captured the next day June 18, 2015 at 10:44 am 245 miles from the scene of the shooting. On June 19, 2015, he was charge with nine counts of  murder and one count of possession of a firearm. At his hearing the same day he got a $1 million bond for weapon’s possession charge and no bail for the nine counts of murder.

According to a confession statement made by Roof, he wanted to start a race war. We later learn from news reels that Roof came to the church went inside– where a Bible Study was ensue, sat down in the Bible Class for approximately 1 hour. In the Bible study including Roof, 14 people in total. The shooter then got up and start shooting people, nine in all,  six women and 3 men got hit, one was spared. According to reports, Roof disagreed when the discussion of the scriptures began. Roof spared Mother Sanders, so that she could tell what had happened. quote: “Did I shoot you?” “No” he said, “Good, ’cause we need someone to survive, because I’m gonna shoot myself, and you ‘ll be the only survivor.” He then turned the gun on himself but ran out of ammunition.

Here are my questions: Are there people behind him who egged him on or bait him to do it” Roof mentioned “We.” Was he trying to be like Ian Smith, the last White Regime ruler of Rhodesia and was unintentionally drawn to the historical calamity of an idea?  because if I hate you, I wouldn’t want to be around you at all.

This kid, not only had black friends but had them since grade school. He even lived in a black town, mostly African-American , in Eastover, not too far from where he was born. He sat in the church for one hour. No racist would have hang around that long. Supposedly Roof did it because he feels that “Black men raped white women and he wanted to start a race war.” What was he hoping to gain out of causing a race war, who does he think would win (Nobody of course). I believe he use that antidote as a copout to confuse. Maybe he was told to use them.

If a person is a average learner and go on some web pages found some stuff about people, people that person had been hanging out with night and day, close black friends. These pages are telling that person things not known to that person or that person did not pick up in school because said person dropped out—why wouldn’t said person asked their so-call-black-friend, or go do some research on the topics or ask older people.

The fact is, Dylann was not living in a racist town, as was mentioned. (But then, most young people do not listen to no amount of talking sometimes). How could Dylann,  turn so far left in mare months while still talking to his black friends. Could it be that what he was reading about and eventually wrote about hit home, bring back memories of a childhood upbringing–a lost. Not an excuse but, did he see his rousing idea (of his) as a way to pay back his family or whoever troubled him.

Clearly he was troubled and this idea was a way to go out in style, make some history and be remembered for years to come.  Sticking it to somebody, saying “I became somebody, I am somebody I made history.” The hero in the history books, Ian Smith of Rhodesia, was the last all White Majority rule general; some of his inch men would’ve rather die fighting to the bitter end— some, of whom could still be alive today; possibly gave birth to Roof. Ian Smith died in 1985.

A SAD FAIRWELL TO BOBBI KRISTINA AKA (KRISSI)

LIFE FOR THIS ONE AND ONLY CHILD SHOULDN’T HAVE TURN OUT THIS WAY

By: C. Harrison/July 28, 2015/5:04am

Daughter of the late singer Whitney Houston, Bobbi Kristina died Sunday, July 28,. She was found facedown in her bathtub inside of her townhouse, in Atlanta. she was 22 years of age. Ripped way too soon.

Whitney Houston was one of the biggest R&B singer of all times, She died January 9, 2012, found in a California Hotel room in a bathtub facedown…like her daughter. Whitney came into this world (born) 1963…..Missed by Millions.

The question is why? why did this child Bobbi Kristina, seemingly moving forward with her life inspite of what was thrown in her way for a year by her auntie (a restraining order on her husband not to come near her).  Yes, the question is: who wanted Bobbi Kristina out of the way and what did they hope to get with her being gone?  Were they targeted by people close to them unbeknown to the family?

I say follow the money trail, which I think investigator are already on to. Whoever killed her killed her mother either that or it was a copycat.  Someone or we will use (they) for the purpose of this article—wanted these two Mother and daughter out of the way.

I believe that  had a throughout investigation continued–that person or those responsible might have been flushed out but instead they counted on a few things and got their wishes only to kill again or was just buying time before they went after Houston’s daughter. The bathtub work the first time why wouldn’t work again, no signs of forced trauma, it was easy.

This baby girl even though she wouldn’t not listen because of Nick Gordon, didn’t deserve to died so young and in the manner she did. Her family should know that she was not going to listen to them because Nick was her first and that is key. The question here is would Nick really cut down a mother and her daughter?, why? and for what. What was this guy into?–if he was really marry to Kristina then he had means and motive. The thing is, he is not the only person with means and motive and this is the biggest question.

Bobbi Kristina May you and your mother Whitney Houston rest in peace, God sees and knows all things–the truth will come out.

Posted  By: C. Harrison/July 24, 2015

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is reminding National Flood Insurance Program (NSIP) policyholders, who filed a claim as a result of Hurricane Sandy, that they have 60 days to register to have claim files reviewed if they believe their claims were underpaid. FEMA set a September 6, 2015 as the last day for policyholders to register.

MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES TO THE TOWER ISLE’S FAMILY

Posted By: C. Harrison/July 24, 2015/12:54PM

I would like to convey my condolences to Mr. Patrick Jolly, and immediately family, as well as the extended family of the Tower Isles Food Distribution Company, on the passing of their love one via  Mr. Jolly’s mother, Ms. Flossie Hazel Salmon. Ms. Salmon was 105 years of age.  Ms. Salmon’s sun raised on March 24, 1910 and her sun set July 19, 2015.

There is never enough to say or ways to comfort a love one, a brethren, a relative or a friend, whenever someone dies. But It is in these times that one always have to look within and embellish responses, especially when the departed is 105 years young, a full life lived….longevity. Plenty of stories to tell….as the Tower Isles family, will no doubt tell them in the months to come. I hope Ms. Salmon, live her life it to the fullest.  May God continue to bless the Family.

Ms. Salmon funeral goes as follow:

Friday, July 24, 2015 @ 4p.m. -9 p.m.—Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, 290 Post Avenue, Westbury, New York 11590

A Token/When you die

Where do you go after you die? Will everyone just cry and cry? Will I ride past the stars to a heavenly place? Do your problems and guilt get washed off your face? Can you spend forever and ever with a hole in your heart? Do you want to go back because you can’t  be apart? Do you see old friends you lost long ago? Can it take away the pain and sorrow? Would you give anything to live one more life?—–a poem by:   6 Grader Emmeline Vacanti

2015 NYC GROOVIN IN THE PARK REVIEW AND HIGHLIGHTS

GROOVIN SUCCESS STAR LINEUP

By: C. Harrison/July 14, 2015/6:26PM

New York, NY…..Jamaica Queens, is a part of the broader New York City land mass and although North East Queens, is a smaller section of this pie, we in this corner of the world have been privileged. Northeast Queens for the past 14-years have turned out some of the biggest concerts in New York State ever  without incidents via the Caribbean community.  The 2015 Groovin In The Park Concert carried over, making it that much a statement.

This year’s show success I believe was due to the stellar lineup. From the announcements on the  flyers, to the  outsourcing to people—finding out that Michael Bolton was on the roaster; along with some of the biggest names in Reggae on the international level, tickets sold out immediately.  It couldn’t get any bigger than that.

When a promoter authorize an amelioration, basically putting amenable personnel’s together- a colossal of mavens; you can only get one out come, efficient and effectiveness- combinations for success. And judging from previous years concerts, (not to say they weren’t successes) but, the 2015 Groovin concert showed off the improvements….not to the naked eyes of patrons but to trained eyes, or anyone looking for such improvements. Great job.

Forever a modest person,  the Promoter & Producer of Groovin In The Park, Christopher Roberts–owner of the Door Restaurant, which sits a block away from the concert venue…stated that , “The concert turned out magnificent. But we need to ensure that our gates are opened on time at 11:00 am Sharp.”  He said, “even though the opening of the gates were hampered  by the setup via delayed by rain, regardless; I wants to make sure that the gates are always open on time.  ”  As long as people are satisfied I have accomplished my goal,  We did good,” Chris Commented.

The excitement began when Luciano (the messenger) came to the stage, it felt unreal. He gave an outstanding performance and even joined patrons in the crowd–at which point we could not see him. I felt it for him when he mentioned that people have been trying to kill him. He said, “I got hit with a iron pipe.” My first though was who would want to kill this beloved. He got standing ovation. He was followed by the trailblazer from Clarendon Cocoa Tea, who shell down the Park.  And who always travel with his catalog: if attention is not pay to him. he will stay on stage for the duration–to which no one would complain. He said, “Because of the racial issues in America,  we have to come together.  And when you come to a  Cocoa Tea’s show, you have to come with energy.”  Tea paid homage to Berris Hammond and Shabba Ranks. He also got standing ovation and calls back to the stage. He gave his all as usual-magnificent.

Honing the stage thereafter was the fire man himself, Capleton and of course he blaze-up the crowd. A sound performance-wonderful. He belt out “Jah Jah City.”  “Every great nation needs vision but, if you don’t have profits there is no nation,” Capleton said.  Capleton also pointed out that Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley, John F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr. all got gun down–a political statement on guns. Right after he wilded the crowd with “Legalize Marijuana burn it.”

Following Capleton,  was a surprise on stage to the shock of 30,000 thousand fans, Stephen Marley; who send the crowd into a frenzy. We don’t get to see this ever, a nice surprise indeed. Then they did something on-heard-of and we will be talking about it,  in the history books forever. They brought: Luciano, Cocoa Tea, Capleton and Stephen Marley on one stage together, this, took the cake. I don’t think there was one person in that crowd who didn’t take a picture of the group, historical.  Whoever stage the lineup, needs to be recognize.

At intermission we listened to the sound of Bobby Condor and Jabba, who paid credence and tribute to Buju Banton, Damain  Marley, Jah Cure and Berris Hammond and others.  Next up was the family of love Morgan Heritage, who set concert goers in a trance. They also came with their a list of songs and began with “Strictly Roots” and “Don’t Afe Dread To Be Rasta.” They make  tributes to Toots and The Maytals and to Buju Banton also.  A stellar performance.

Another intermission saw D.J. Inferno, who hold is own. And then there were two,  mega superstars left—of which, first came Billy Ocean. He entered with a catalog of some of his biggest hits and he did not disappoint us. It was good to see a legend on stage. Clad in full white he gave us “There will Be Sad Songs” “One Of Them Nights” “Love Zone” “What Is The Color Love”  Suddenly” “Get into my Car” “Caribbean Queen” a new song “Here You Are” these among so many other favorites, excellence performance.

Lastly the man of the hour Michael Bolton, the toast of the evening; came with his A-game and showed his love to the Caribbean community.  His song favorite s were  “Sold Survivor” “If I Ain’t Got  You” these amongst his monster hits. The crowd loved him, The concert was money well spent everyone went home happy. There were something for everybody. Hosts for the evening was famed radio announcer Barry G, out of Jamaica, he got a legend award—very fitting. The last time I saw Barry G, was on vacation in Jamaica, 1982, on Red Hills Road at a street block party—where it was all about the girls on bikebacks and Clem, a New York radio announcer.
