The Mistrial

It was a cry of outraged when New York City and the community of Queens found out what Malcolm A. Smith had done months ago. But, according to those that knew Malcolm they said, he did nothing wrong. People in the know and People in this borough of Queens, who knew that (this act)  was the only way it worked for New York’s elected officials to get anything done for your districts, for years, if not decades, conceded to the deed.

So, when a young  ambitious Senator,  Malcolm op to do the same as a New York Republican Mayor, had already done, a short time earlier, this Democratic Senator Malcolm, was crucified for doing the same thing. Senator Smith only wanted to help and move his community forward by doing some-thing for his district.

“A week has gone by since the judge declared, and rightfully so, a mistrial, I just wanted to let you know that I am grateful for your support and prayers,” Smith said.

New Yorker are not in any way advocating for any elected official to do what Senator  Malcolm A. Smith or what the former Mayor, Michael R Bloomberg did; this way of doing politics in New York, just to get something done needs to be looked at.  It should be made easier for elected members to help their community better with out going through any fuss.  Elected officials should not have to put their careers on the line, to get help for their constituents.
