A recent press conference held at Manhattan’s  LQ Night Club, Tuesday, April 15, 2014; revealed that Irie Jam Radio and Bobby Clarke Entertainment, will be hosting and presenting a festival called Araca Bessa. Proceeds from the events will benefit 99% of children from the Cross Road area of Kingston, Jamaica.  Featured guest artiste was Assasn. And also at the event were Stephen Marley and one member of the Mighty Crown. The conference began at 7pm and ended at 11pm. The Festival will take place at the Roy Wilkins Park, in Jamaica, Queens NY.

According to officials, the festival’s program theme is Moving Forward, which is where business, individuals and the community comes together. Where also, festival patrons will be able to give back by donating. There will be games for children, free give aways, two stage, one for New York artiste and the other for international  artiste.  And of course, education on health issues for you.  At the Festival, there will be a fashion launch, says organizers.   “It’s not just about the music its how you use the music to move a people,” said to Irwin Clare, the host.  Organizers are asking for all to come out and support the event.
