New York, NY… The recent horror film “Boatyard,” is the latest RG Graham’s creation and thus far, is a runaway hit. He is also the CEO and owner of ENRG Entertainment, “Boatyard’s” parent company. He is the writer of the hit movie and one half of movie’s Executive Producers, who play the role of Dr. Griffin. At the end of the day, he is the delighted Parent. Not a pushover, Graham moreover is a successful entrepreneurial venturer who happens to own and operate several other successful businesses.
In a recent phone interview with me…the innovative and visionary artisan spoke with me regarding his horror trope and voiced is praised for Dale Stelly, the movie’s Co-Executive Producer and Director, who also played the role of Loe in the movie, accordingly.
Homing in on the movie’s momentum we jumped into the issues of ‘Content’ and its importance. “There is a war going on in the Movie Industry, with several con. What do they all need, ‘contents.’ I am a businessman, there is a war going on out there for contents and I got a bite. My advance for selling my movie is $3 to $6 thousand dollars,” Graham explained.
In addition, Graham ring the bell further stating, “I will stream my movie contents myself. I am doing it for my generation behind me. I made the movie “Boatyard,” because I own a yacht. I did my movie during the movie strike. And I am a commercial for California. I don’t compare myself to other film makers. Histem, said be smart and stupid at the same time, your subjectivity will change as you get older,” Graham adhered to. “Horror films he said, are the highest grossing cult following.”
Furthermore, RG Graham, expertly explained that because has a writer, he wrote the script and they put it out there, he could not believe who was answering to it. “The script was an A-list of actors and actress. It was not for the pay. I pay crap. In making the movie and seeing how it came alive…it passes my expectations and the cast working so hard it felt great. The cast made me see her and feel everything,” he commented with delight.
More to the point, Graham, was moved by the fact that Stelly, gave “1000%,” he said and did a fine job directing the crew, himself and kept the movie on schedule, which surpasses the challenges. He said, “It takes lemons to make lemonade,” “Beyond belief it turned out.” “I enjoyed the story. I wanted to make something that hold people’s attention,” he said. “Speaking of how the movies move to keep audience attention, I didn’t want it to be about my talent. Every movie I make is a remake of one another. Everything is already out there…the little crabs. There will be a “Boatyard,” 4,5, 6 and 7. We are doing two in 2024, in forthcoming,” Graham conceded.
“We have a fine marketing department. Me, being independent, being a good boy, I had a budget, sufficiently enough to market the movie from its inception. I used the prop-on and use them well. My brand went over $100,000, fully cloth,” Graham said.
“I am more of a believer in it. I will take a guarantee over a promise.” “I never graduated from a school, but I was able to buy my mom, three houses, cars, etc before she died.” “I am guaranteed fruits if, I plant something.” “There is nothing like contents, anything and everything is contents,” according to the Producer.
“I’ve been divorced four times. I hope it parole to someone and everyone that is affected negatively.” “They’re jumping out the windows. I am doing better than you.” “I don’t have to move because of other people’s loyalty.” “My loyalty, belongs to my company.” “Everything is a cause and effect,” he stated.
Elated, Graham said that seeing his movie on Billboard, was amazing. “I jumped in the car to see my Billboard, blew my mind when I saw it in Time Square.” It’s just the beginning. just warming up,” Graham quipped Getting to Hollywood, Graham said, he took Fountain Boulevard, a street in Los Angeles.
Graham further pointed out that the movie is unique in itself and unique in its cast members, which included LGBT, Whites, Blacks, and Guyanese, comforted in the California, Mariena Del Ray.
RG Graham, wits and business acumens in the movie and entrepreneurial landscape took root while he was a curious youngster. As a youngster he would frequent the Apollo Theatre and later-on in life realized the importance of his visits.” I went every Thursday, even though i would have rather stayed home riding my bike.” “The best part of going to the Apollo, was to see what they did behind the curtains and the setup crews.” “I realized the magic of set ups; of doing something you don’t even see yet. The magic of what they do to make the show happen.” “I was able to see that way, the tone, the vibration and the different perspectives on the job.” Graham said gratefully. Graham is a product of New York City, Harlem, born and bred. He is a scholar of the New Jersey School System, because his family thought it was safer.
Graham first venture was into the genre of R&B and Reggae Music. He worked with the likes of Shabba Ranks and Elephant Man, among others. “I made a bunch of money. I had an all-access pass. I found the equipment’s and then fine people to do the work.” “I told myself if I want to learn it, I might as well earn from it.” “I did not totally leave the Music Industry. I managed it from 1996-2006,” he confirmed.
His colliding spirit for adventurous pulls for business advancements, brought him to the doors of nonprofit outfits, for which he owns a 501-3c just for tax purposes.” “I am not going to do anything unless it’s helpful.” he said. “The ENLGDT Community Net LGBT, I put my company under that. I have a publication also, which is a for profit, ‘Community Net Foundation,’ basically, we don’t care if you are gay or not, it’s the only place equality lives, and is doing something for all,” he said.
Graham’s other business is in the Home Building Market. he said that he did it because he wanted his own house. “I bought three lots out of five lots, found out how much the house and lot cost and then use my subcontractors to build it, with the materials I bought.” ” I did not leave that industry either, I still have a couple of houses being built right now,” he sprouted earnestly.
Also, a lover of cars he saw the true meaning of it and use it to furnish another business. “I like cars and buy them at whole sales prices and sell them at retail.” “Yes, I made a huge success from 2011. I also been in the crypto currency and got rich during the pandemic because of oil prices that went down to zero. I bought in and got rich.” “The number one cause of death is life, and the number one cause of divorce is marriage,” proclaimed the visionary Producer.
The Producer’s next film will be his directorial debut and he will be its writer. The movie will be called “Origin,” starring Morris Chestnut. They are in production with the third, “Best Game Is No Game at All.” “I love to hear people’s perspectives and inputs but, don’t tell me this or that is better.” “I do films because I want the 52+48%.” “If, someone tells you to go north, you will end up west.” “For example, because Chad is the owner of the Boat, he is the king of the world. I am too. It didn’t work out with Chad, and sometimes it didn’t work out with me,” said Graham
“Boatyard,” made history and RG Graham, sprinted to the front of the line with his brand, ENRG Entertainment. He debuted on the world’s stage and humbly depicted himself as a driving force without the “Boatyard.” Rightfully so, because he has the where-it-all of success, in all of his businesses. He said, “Everyone is a driving force. I am a driving force because I made a movie. The “Boatyard,” will be here long after me, it’s history. It’s a matter of facts.”
In caping off the interview, the well verse entrepreneur conceded that he and ENRG Ent. had a wonderful time making the “Boatyard.” “We are the driving force in the industry to be determine by the viewers,” Graham said.
We encourage all to go see the movie. it is excellent.
