We Must Remember

We Have To Make Changes

Today we must observe and remember those that paved the way allowing us to be. Many have sacrifice and burn candles from sun up to sun down. Some have traveled on planes for long hours on our behaves, some had to talk and talk fast; give speeches because, and still others fought, bleed and died just so. So yes, we remember.

Today I am imploring each and all of us to make a change, if not for us then for our future children who will come after we are long gone. They will look back to pattern themselves off what we have done and left behind for them; just like how we are scouring the history books to see what our fore parents did or did not do. We want to leave behind things that can make beacons out of them so they may never fall into the pit falls we have had to endure. So, has we celebrate let us also give thanks and remember.
