VETS CAN NOW STAY IN QUEENS FOR SERVICES

Today, Queens have its very own satellite Department of Veteran Services to help veterans in the Queens community. Mayor de Blasio , made the official announced of the creation of New York City Department of Veteran Services.
The department will be led by the commitment of Loree Sutton, a retired Army Brigadier general. Thanks to the City Council Veterans Committee Chair, Eric Ulrich (from Queens) for his leadership in introducing the original Bill that made the creation of the new Dept.
This satellite service department in Queens, is a first of its kind opened by the Department. It is designed to enhance accessibility for Veterans to service without having to travel all the way to lower Manhattan.
