SUTPHIN BOULVARD

A few days well nights ago, I was walking on the sidewalk on Sutphin Blvd, across the street from the Long Island Rail Road -Archer Ave right next to the recent Q6 bus stop and in front of the Green Market Chinese Grocery store…..I was almost thrown to the ground because my foot got hitch on a crack on the side walk. My right foot literally got out of one of my shoe.
The reason that I am not letting this go is because I got thrown on my backside on 164th street walking on the sidewalk toward the Central Post Office, when workers were getting ready to build the now infamous new school on Hillside Ave. To date, I am very glad that I did not hit my head but I did hit my shoulder, a shoulder that is badly hurt already from a fall I got at 42nd and Grand Central—where I fell and rolled down the escalator, again glad that my clothing didn’t get caught up in the stairs. Glad to say I walked away from that a bit brused but, it was later I found out how bad when my shoulders started hurting. Anyway….
My first thought was what if that was a baby carriage, and the baby was not strapped in properly–that baby would go flying. So I stopped and took a picture. This particular area is always full with people and now that the Q6 is right there, it is even more dangerous. These cracks have to be fixed and promptly….
