Honoring The Victims of Gun Violence

New York, NY….A free Mother’s Day concert will be held on Friday May 8, 2015, the theme of which will be —honoring the victims of gun violence. The timing could not have come at a better time according to Senator Sander Jr. office.

Given the rise in shootings in  Far Rockaway and across the City, we will aim to convey the message that we need to bring peace back to our communities and care more about the families we are affecting every time a gun is fired.

“Gun violence is a plague in our community,” Senator Sander said. Gun violence has shown that it does not know color, it does not know religion, it does not know age and it does not know rich or poor. We are not only celebrating Mother’s Day, but showing that unity and respect for mothers is the only way to end gun violence.”

REPUBLICANS FINNALLY GIVE WAY TO THE LIGHT

By: C. Harrison/April 29, 2015/3:37 pm

The Republicans have just seen what everyone else and their peers have already seen, the truth and ability of Loretta Lynch. Was that 5-months or more they held up her nomination? Why, they never bother to tell the populous.

That was a crying shame, the historical First Black Woman, Loretta Lynch, to held the post of State Attorney General of the United State….and the nomination got pushed back for this long until April 28, 2015. But in our book it is better to be late than never getting what is rightfully yours.

Congratulations! State Attorney General, Loretta Lynch
