FINALLY A NEW BILL SIGN IN LAW TO FIND MISSING ADULTS

MISSING ADULTS NO MORE WAITING

By: C. Harrison/Sept 19, 2016

a80e2d1c-fc23-4284-962d-83a0d8563706New York, NY…..Today, is a brand new day where adults who go missing have a chance of being found. Today we are excited to say that Governor Cuomo signed into New York State Law, late Friday, Sept 16, 2016, a Bill S6437A, sponsored by Senator James Sanders (D-Rochdale Village & Far Rockaway). The Bill requires police to file reports of missing adults. State Law previously only mandated reports of missing children and vulnerable adults.

“This is a tremendous victory for families across the state,” “Now when one of our loved ones goes missing, we will have the peace of mind that police will investigate,” said Sanders.

The act known as LaMont Dottin’s Law, is named after a 19-year old who disappeared from St. Albans, Queens on October 19, 1995. His mother Dr. Amita Fowler,  searched for her son for five years, only to discover that he had been found dead six days after she reported him missing and that he had been buried in an unmarked grave in a potter’s field.

The new law, Chapter 316 or 2016, will require police to submit reports of missing adults to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database when the adult has a proven disability, may be in physical danger, is missing after a catastrophe, may have disappeared involuntarily or is missing under circumstances where there is a reasonable concern for his or her safety.

Accordingly, a former version of the Bill, passed both houses of the legislation in 2015, but was voted by the Governor over concerns that it was framed too broadly to comply with the NCIC database. This year,  it was rewritten with language mirroring the parameters of the database, when it passed the Senate 61-0 and the Assembly 130-12.

Assembly member Charles Barron (D-Brooklyn) sponsored the companion Bill A9957.  The Law will take effect on November 8, 2016, when it will become Section 837-F-2 of the Executive Law.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton via Google

New York, NY…..A Commander & Chief Forum took place last night on the NBC and MSNBC network channels. The forum too place on the warship, The Intrepid, now a museum in New York, the forum began at 8:00 PM and ended at 9:00 PM.

A coin toss saw former Secretary of States, Hillary Clinton, first on stage where her first question was to answer what makes a good Commander & Chief?  which she replied a predictable and strong person. Mrs. Clinton answered her questions in length at times, to give a well round  idea of what voters need to hear. The consensus is that Hillary Clinton was the victor at this forum.

Again, she answered questions on her emails and explained the difference between classified and unclassified emails…which I believe a lot of people didn’t understand and she cleared up. She also explained again about Syria, Iran, Iraq and about Muammar Gaddafi and why the administration went after him. Clinton furthermore, elaborated at length on how she will fix the Veterans Hospitals and who she has been working with inside the VA, to further boost getting the job done.

In referring to sending ground troops into the Middle East, she said that one thing she will not do is send any ground troops into Syria to fight Isis and that she will make our Middle Eastern allies to the ground work, while we fight from the Air. “Defeating Isis, is my number one priority,” she said.

Next to the stage was Donald Trump, when he was asked what makes a good Commander & chief,? his answer was that he has build a big business, he a businessman, and he is running a campaign. Never answering the question. His answer to the on-going war in the Middle East is, we should have taken their oil. When asked how? he said, “I would have left a group behind to take their oil.”  When asked about how he would fix the (VA) Veteran Agency, his answer was he will build a massive mental division.

On the question of women getting rape in the military, he noted that the tribunal court system, should stay inside of the military, he wouldn’t want it outside. The kicker, was when he was asked about the National Security issue given to him by the intelligent community, he said, “I have had two briefings and I was surprise to learn that China and other Countries didn’t give President Obama, welcoming stairs to come off his plane.

(As if that’s really important. I am sure that will be explained .  And seriously, sometimes its better to keep them away from the plane).

Furthermore, he stated a couple of times that the President’s Military Generals are all reduced to rubbles and that they are disgraceful. Other questions he completely ignored never answering them. And he lied that he never said that he wanted to send in ground troops into Iraq, he sighted a 2004 news feed.

This Journalist take: First of all the arrogance of Donald Trump, to believe that he can send a contingency group into Iraq to take away oil, out of that country without repercussion his reprehensible.  Our morals would have been compromised.  What does he think will happened? And what would America stand for after that?.

Next, he made clear (Like he made clear about building a wall to keep out Mexicans) that he is going to build a massive mental division….with what money Donald?. There is already mental hospitals for the Vets. We just have to make sure that Veterans who need the help doesn’t fall behind and get the help they need.

Additionally, what he voiced about President Obama’s Generals reducing to rubbles, I believe that the Generals on his little list, to support him put him up to it. Because if he becomes President, the ones who gave him the talking points will be considered for, his administration. If the Intelligent briefers, did tell him that, then they have to answer to the American populace in the coming weeks.

That argument also, is a signal to his base that he has disrespected and is discrediting the President as Commander & Chief, his administration and his Generals…Trump doesn’t like Obama-a black President, never has never will. Even though this President, has been one of the best we have had in over 50 years and has done more for this Country than what others, have tried to do in over 30 add years. Donald Trump’s entire being is to crush this President’s legacy and that’s the facts.

JOLANDA JONES IS A RESILIANT WOMAN

An Insight Into Her Amenable ways And Advancements Maneuvering Through  Life, In spite Of

Jolanda Jones

By: C. Harrison/Sept 3, 2016/2:38 AM

New York, NY……….Jolanda Jones, stars in the hit TV Show “Sister In Law,” a reality television show based in the City of Houston, on the WEtv channel. Its inhabitations are five characters including Jones, whom are Lawyers in their respective rights in real life. Jones who’s a Criminal Defense Attorney, also sits on the Houston School Board. The essence of the show is a dose of how well these lawyers handles themselves, conducts and juggles real life cases, in front of a camera in real time. To say the least these characters make their jobs look very easy.

My first impressions of Jones, was that she is impressive, precise, have  cool decorum’s, gives off a twig of assertiveness or authoritativeness and looks cool under pressure. She also, come across in a real way; her character grabs you and reels you in…maybe because she is tall good-looking and striking–a character you will  never forget. Watching her you get the sense that you can bet on her. I was intrigued with her story and character after watching several episodes and eagerly looked forward, to interviewing  the mystique character.

According to Mrs. Jones, this is her first season on this particular show.  She professes that she balances her  tv-work and her real-life work, by reacting to whatever she’s confronted with on the show. To do it, she said she have to keep in mind that she’s on camera.  Jones was a character on the 2005 weekly TV show “Survivor.”

The essence of the show is the on-going feuds with the characters and one such feud is between Jones and her co-worker, actor, Vivian, which is out of control.  Jones divulges that she didn’t hang around Vivian outside of TV or off the set.  “It puts me in situations I have or would never be in. So, I have to deal with it,” Jones said .

When asked does she ever worry about clients seeing her in the light the show, portrays her in?  “No,” she said.  “I have gotten great responds from people. Everybody loves the fact that I stay real. A lot of people forget where they come from if they come into money. Being successful didn’t stop me from being around my family. I don’t keep up with the Jones. The show have been well received for the most part, people think its positive,” elaborated Jones.

“My representative, is no-nonsense. The clients actually love being on the show. There have never been that client, who didn’t want to be on the show. Clients have to be on camera, they’re told before hand. In real life insecure people don’t like me. The ones who are confident do like me,” Jones said .   She also elaborated that she had a murder case where the client didn’t want to be on the show and that she doesn’t think of her cases, as TV-shows, even though she is doing them on camera .

Jolanda Jone, is no stranger to the spotlight, she has been in the media and public eye since 1979. Her journey to fame began in the eight grade, then in high school and grew from there. “I am who everybody knew in the industry. I have always been the Q local celebrity,” confirmed Jones. Later-on, taking an hiatus to be with her husband, she noted that he played basketball in Spain, where she lived for a while and didn’t have the limelight like she does now.

Moreover, the imperturbable actor have been a Lawyer for the last 21-years, which saw its inception in 1995. Jones was the hallmark figure who helped to bring down the Houston DNA Crime Lab. She described this has her biggest case. “I am the black legal expert in Houston,” she noted.

When ask to elaborate on the low points of being a lawyer, she conceded that its having to deal with Vivian.  She quipped, “I don’t hang around lawyers either in real life. I am here today because of what I have been through.” Jones, was recently sworn onto the Houston School Board, as of June 14, 2016. She had also worked for the Houston City Council, for a 4-year period from 2008-2012. She credited her grandmother for teaching her now to focus. She explained that there is not enough time in the day, so she prioritize.

In revealing her pass, Jones explained that she had been choked and raped.   She said candidly,  “I was molested by my Uncle, numerous family members were murdered, my house was burned down, I was tainted for being black and three of my grandmother’s children died. I am glad that I got out alive and turned out ok. So yes, I have the fight in me….the determination. I could have easily been on welfare or dead. So I thank God for being alive. I would rather be poor and happy then rich and miserable.”

How she maneuvered through life is exceptional for what she had gone through. Not many people could’ve come back from situations that egregious. Perceptively though, Jones proclaimed that she would rather die on her feet then live on her knees and that she was proud of her status financially. “I am comfortable,” she said. “I live better than most people. Has a child I would say I want enough money so I could fix or buy what I need. Has a child I felt I was not worthy. I want enough money to take care of my son. He is my greatest gift. I was going to be supportive of my son’s life. I am proud of my relationship with him,” Jones voiced. Her son is 24-years old.

When the critique of her Fashion sense came up, she explained it this way; “People are always asking me where do I get my clothing from and who taught me fashion sense. I got it from my aunt. She would tell me to (Wear it like you own it). My aunt gave me the confidence I needed,” emphasize Jones.  “I do not spend a lot of money on clothes. I whore stuff on the Show, that cost $8.99,” she confided.  Jones hope to get a fashion line out of it.

As for the summer break, the multi-faceted intellectual, in her unique mode of what a workaholic is and motherhood, Jones is content just looking forward to being a mother to her beloved son.
