But, according to those that knew Malcolm they said, he did nothing wrong. People in the know and People in this borough of Queens, who knew that (this act) \u00a0was the only way it worked for New York’s elected officials to get anything done for your districts, for years, if not decades, conceded to the deed.<\/p>\n So, when a young \u00a0ambitious Senator, \u00a0Malcolm op to do the same as a New York Republican Mayor, had already done, a short time earlier, this Democratic Senator Malcolm, was crucified for doing the\u00a0same thing.\u00a0Senator Smith\u00a0only wanted to help and move his community forward by doing some-thing for his district.<\/p>\n \n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The Mistrial By C. New Yorker are not in any way advocating for any elected official to do what\u00a0Senator \u00a0Malcolm A. Smith or what the former Mayor, Michael R Bloomberg\u00a0did; this way of doing politics in New York, just to get something done needs to be looked at.\u00a0 It should be made easier for\u00a0elected members\u00a0to help their community better with out going through any fuss.\u00a0 Elected officials should not have to put their careers on the line, to get help for their constituents.<\/span><\/h3>\n
