A recent press conference\u00a0held at Manhattan’s\u00a0\u00a0LQ Night Club, Tuesday, April 15, 2014; revealed that Irie Jam Radio and Bobby Clarke Entertainment, will be hosting and presenting a festival called Araca Bessa. Proceeds from the events will benefit 99% of children from the Cross Road area\u00a0of Kingston, Jamaica.\u00a0\u00a0Featured guest artiste was Assasn. And also at the event were Stephen Marley and one member of the Mighty Crown. The conference began at 7pm and ended at 11pm. The Festival will take place at the Roy Wilkins Park, in Jamaica, Queens NY.<\/p>\n

According to officials, the festival’s program theme is Moving Forward<\/span>, which is where business, individuals and the community comes together. Where also, festival patrons will be able to give back by donating. There will be games for children, free give aways, two stage, one for New York artiste and the other for international\u00a0 artiste.\u00a0 And of course, education on health issues for you.\u00a0 At the Festival, there will be a fashion launch, says organizers.\u00a0\u00a0 “It’s not just about the music its how you use the music to move a people,”\u00a0said to Irwin Clare, the host.\u00a0 Organizers are asking for all to come out and support the event.<\/p>\n
