It’s Surprising in a sense that it was uniquely presented…masterfully and ingeniously put together. Mississippi Land<\/strong> had everything (Drama to the core) in it. It had flair, wits, sex, romance, death, truths, lies, suspense and mystery. Read by the best of what Broadway give us. Broadway it is bound<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Directed By Alicia Whavers and Gayle Samuels, the plays executive producers are Leon and Dave Huie. The cast includes Leon, Andrea Jones-Sojola, Rebecca Hargrove, Audrey Cardwell, Ta’Nika Renee Gibson, Christian Mark Gibbs and Lance Roberts. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the intro the play explores the complexity and challenges facing African Americans after the Civil War and underscores the grits and strength of Southern Women determined to build generational wealth amid the threat of government land theft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Nephew and I saw the play Feb 4, a beautiful Sunday after at the LeFrak Concert Hall, Queens College. A must see wherever you are. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the play I ran into Melvin Glover, famed rapper Mellie Mel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
