Harrison<\/p>\n<p>Over the decades Women are told to be gentle we are told to be meek we are told to carry ourselves\u00a0in a judicious way we are told not to speak until we are asked and when we do speak be mindful of what we say; Yes, we do all these things and then some.<\/p>\n<p>Women are the cradle of civilization. We were there in the beginning and no doubt we will be there in the end. Women stood beside great men of our times, not saying much that one could hear but saying everything in monumental waves that these great men had to listen to guide civilization along to its fruition.<\/p>\n<p>Women are courageous, symmetrical, mystical, sensuous, powerful, surreal, beautiful, contagious, analytical, and can be cantankerous at he same time, some even notorious, to name a few things<\/p>\n<p>Everyone like to say &#8220;This is a man&#8217;s world&#8221; well, it is, with guide and permissiveness from us towards \u00a0our men . We are the driving force behind men.\u00a0\u00a0With out us, \u00a0there would be no them. To every strong great intellectual \u00a0&#8216;spicemen of a man&#8217; on earth;\u00a0\u00a0there is an even stronger victorious women standing behind him allowing him to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>Show me a man who is successful in his own right, is to, show me that women standing by his side, even if that women is not his wife or girlfriend or women and she is standing in the shadows. She&#8217;s there<\/p>\n<p>Here I want to commend a few great women that have paved\u00a0the path ways and allow us to be who we are today.: The great warrior Queen\u00a0\u00a0Granny Nanny, who fought off Portuguese and English soldier, Queen of Sheba, The great African Queen, Natitota, who made it possible\u00a0for the\u00a0abolishing \u00a0of the trans-Atlantic slave trade slaves. She\u00a0moved\u00a0the world thus\u00a0freeing the slaves, \u00a0Maya Angelo,\u00a0a pillow \u00a0of strength gone but not for gotten, Shirley\u00a0\u00a0Chisholm, fight the good fight to pave the way, Herriot Tubman, the American abolitionist who freed seventy slaves, Oprah Winfrey, show us how to live and be inspired and put our decorum&#8217;s in check<\/p>\n<p>Charlene Hunter Gaul, stood her ground, \u00a0Susan Rice, former National Security Advisor to the U.S., showed us what patience is all about, she was denied so many times in her conformation\u00a0 for her post it confused many. \u00a0Linda Brown, like Rosa Parker, made the first civil right \u00a0decisions, \u00a0Hillary Clinton, stand strong and tall\u00a0in the face of her adversaries,\u00a0\u00a0Michelle Obama, first black, First Lady in U.S.\u00a0 history, had to summons inbred strength and wisdom to over come scrutiny and Portia Simons Miller, the first women President of Jamaica West Indies, I can&#8217;t begin to put into language her obstacles to become President; lastly, my mentor Dr. Prof. Maureen Williams\u00a0 a native American, she had to climb mountains to claim her rights\u00a0&#8230; just to\u00a0\u00a0name a few. My hats off to them.
