Twelve midnight and some of us was just\u00a0strolling inside of Amazura<\/span>, once inside the venue was packed. Anticipation billed,\u00a0no one had seen Supercat<\/span>, aka the Wild Apache<\/span>, since he last took to this stage in 2005; so, we knew that the night was not only going to be historica<\/span>l but that the crowd would become much more intents. By two o’clock that is am, the place was jam-pack; which was expected. DJ Norie feeling the crowd tried his best to pace but even he didn’t know what type of crowd he was dealing with.\u00a0Needless to say, he aim to inspire.<\/h4>\n

Accordingly, fan kept to the beat and vibe with each other,\u00a0dancing to a string of dancehall\u00a0favorites until 3:45 rolled around and by now the place was jumping. While a few complaint bitterly, even they didn’t make a move. Cat fans stood and wait anxiously no one dear move–some afraid to leave their spot fearing they might not get it back and the momentum billed, finally we heard his voice and it was all over. People went into a frenzy screaming and shouting “We love you,” for the next hour he dazzled us with a catalog of monster hits like: “Don DaDa” “Come Dung Mek Mi Come Dung” among so many others– too much to name here.\u00a0 He gave us what we came to see and hear even mix it up with a young band, who he gave a chance at stardom. Joining him on stage was reggae singers\u00a0 Junior Demus, and Mikey Jerriot among others. When he left the stage fans were reeling for more even though it was Pass 5AM, no one cared about time, they chanted for more.\u00a0 The show was a complete success;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Only Super Cat could have people stand their ground after 3:00 AM,\u00a0in the morning without moving a muscle before\u00a0he comes\u00a0to the microphone. Yes, he is all that.\u00a0 Even though he had been hiatus from the dancehall scene but, never too far from the music industry he have not lost a thing, he\u00a0was still spiting fire, teaching & preaching\u00a0as he go along–always, to the youths of tomorrow; for this I love him more.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Supercat, is revered to by his fans and\u00a0those who know him well. He and very few others, are the foundation of what dancehall have become today. He is possibly the most compelling dancehall artist of our times, he is a beacon; a stalwart blazing fire in\u00a0his path\u00a0to\u00a0steer pellucid, Reggae Dancehall Music to where it need to be. Mesmerizing at times, he is excellence at what he knows how to do best. which is spit lyrics—his music is second to none and is flawless. He is loved so much that people will go to bat for him. He quite frankly, is one \u00a0of the most influential and ingenuous person we have encountered inside reggae dancehall today. He\u00a0created and literally help\u00a0 to shape what we now know\u00a0 as Dancehall Reggae–this make him legendary, and iconic-cream of the crop, never to be taken lightly and always someone to be reckoned with. He is the best of the best.\u00a0\u00a0Irie Jam Radio DJ Roy welcomed Supercat, to the stage.<\/p>\n
