QUEENS ARTS FUND\u00a0APPLICATION DEADLINE<\/strong><\/p>\n

Queens, New York….Queens Council on the Arts (QCA) announced the 2016 Queens Arts Fund (QAF) funding cycle that supports the hard work and contributions of the borough’s creative citizens with grants for their programming. In 2015 they\u00a0awarded $180.000 in cultural programming in the borough of Queens.<\/p>\n

July 1, 2015 new guidelines and the online grant application for 2016 grant cycle will become available on the QCA website at http:\/\/www.queenscouncilarts,org\/gaf<\/strong><\/p>\n

Queens base individuals artists and nonprofit organizations producing cultural programming in all arts discipline and meeting eligibility and requirements are invited to apply to the 2015 QAF grant program.<\/p>\n

Deadline for all applications is Thursday, October 8, 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All applicants must attend an application session. This is a competitive application process with applications reviewed by a peer panel. The application information session located throughout the borough and began July 1, 2015. You can do so in three ways:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0 view application tutorials on the QCA website<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0\u00a0 Attend a one-on-one meeting with a QCA staff member<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0 Attend an informational group session. Schedules are as follow:<\/p>\n
