The MTA, made sure that they make us pay astronomically more for riding for less. We the people have no voice thus, they get what they want even after all the Town Hall meetings. Yes its $117.00 dollars not $116.00 for a 30-day metro-card.<\/p>\n

Friday, April 4, 2015, a long line awaits at the Sutphin Blvd\/Long Island Rail Road-Subway toll booth…waiting on the toll clerk, who was no where in sight. This in the middle of a five o’clock rush hour. After a while people came and left, not using the machine observed.<\/p>\n

“I did not want to wait on the long line tomorrow to put money on my card,” stated an older woman with a cane.<\/p>\n

We stood there for what seems like over 20-mins. We did not know how long she was gone but there were no signs telling us anything and no other clerk was or came \u00a0inside the booth. We did not know if she left for a few minutes or gone home. People got frustrated and left, naturally I stayed. MTA, what are we paying you for?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
