Reggae Legend Noel Williams aka King Sporty, best known for his monster hit “Buffalo Soldiers,” a song written for Bob Marley; passed on Monday, January 5, 2015, with his wife by his bedside R&B legend Betty White.\u00a0 king Sporty was the recipient of a Lifetime Honor Awards at the International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA), in New York 2010, held at York College. The Reggae world is once again in morning for another falling icon.<\/p>\n

I was privileged to have been the Marketing Director, for the New York show that year and saw Mr. William for the first and last time in my life.<\/p>\n

He will be missed…another mastery has\u00a0gone\u00a0\u00a0on to glory\u00a0and his merits speaks for themselves.\u00a0 Sporty did not give up that easy because he was in the midst of\u00a0putting a movie together of which I am sure he would have starred in.
